Are Family Portraits Safe During COVID-19? Family, Newborn, Maternity Pictures in Richmond VA
Spring is the start of portrait season and many of you are wondering is it safe to still have family portraits? I cannot answer this question for you, but I can tell you measures I am taking to keep my clients, myself and my own family safe during this crisis.
First and foremost I must be compliant with the governor’s “stay-at-home” ordinance and guidelines for non-essential businesses. How do I do this?
I have multiple zoom lenses to allow me to keep a safe distance at all times during an outdoor photo session.
I have been posing and photographing families for 10 years and can do it with my eyes closed or from 6 feet away with no contact ;) I do not need to physically touch anyone during portraits. I rarely do for posing typically. Most of my instructions are oral.
I am happy to wear a face mask for extra protection for your family.
